Tonya Tyrell Arnold

Tonya Tyrell Arnold, 63, of Hartsville, passed away on Dec. 31, 2023, at Hartsville Health and Rehab.

Tonya was a member of Goodwill Missionary Baptist Church, where she was saved at an early age.

She loved Tennessee football and spending time with her grandchildren. Tonya loved attending all of the grandchildren’s ballgames.

She was preceded in death by: her grandparents, Goldman Seay Gregory and Louise Cunningham Gregory, Woodrow and Christine Taylor; and her parents, Sammy Taylor and Dixie Taylor-Huff.

She is survived by: her husband, Tiff Arnold of Hartsville; daughter, Mandy Gregory (Jerold) Cook of Bethpage; son, Justin (Sunshine) Gregory of Hartsville; step-son, Joshua Arnold of Carthage; six grandchildren, Tyler Dixon, Kaylee Dixon, Rhealynn Cook, Farmer Gregory, Harvest Gregory; Dixie Beatrice Arnold; sisters, Sonya (Ted) Kemp of Pleasant Shade; Kristi (Jeff) Carter of Carthage; bonus dad, Tommy Huff of Castalian Springs; nieces and nephews, Zachary (Casey) Carter, Taylor (Sydney) Carter, Allen Kemp, Samantha Mullins; aunts, Sarita (Bobby) Enoch, Tamara (Tony) Gulley, Martha (Randy) Dawson; and uncle, Jerry (Janice) Gregory.

Funeral services will be held in the chapel of Anthony Funeral Home at 1 p.m. on Wednesday, conducted by elder Kevin Harrison and elder Greg Dunham.

Interment will be at the Bennett Cemetery, located on Puryears Bend Road in Hartsville.

Visitation with the family was from noon until 8 p.m. on Tuesday and from 10 a.m. until the service time Wednesday.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Goodwill Missionary Baptist Church and Sherry’s Run.
